Getting started
What does CargoDepot China do?
We are a warehouse and logistics partner in China for overseas importers. We collect or receive your goods, check them, store them, palletize them, load containers and arrange international freight.
Do I need a company in China?
No. You buy from your suppliers as usual and give them our receiving address and your shipping marks.
Is there a minimum quantity or contract?
There is no minimum quantity and no long-term contract. We handle single cartons as well as full containers.
Where are your warehouses?
In Suzhou, Yiwu and Shanghai in the Yangtze River Delta, and Guangzhou and Shenzhen in the Pearl River Delta.
Prices
How do you keep prices transparent?
All warehouse services are published with a unit price. The online calculator shows each line of your estimate, and your written quote confirms it.
Are freight prices fixed?
Freight prices are indicative because carrier rates change with the market. The current rate and its validity are confirmed in your quote.
Which currencies can I use?
Prices are based on CNY and can be displayed in EUR, USD, GBP, CHF, AUD, CAD, RUB and AED. The payment currency is agreed in your quote.
Warehouse handling
What is cargo verification?
We count, weigh and measure your goods against the packing list and report differences before shipment, so booking and customs data are correct.
Can you inspect goods?
Yes. We offer visual carton checks, unit checks and AQL sampling to your checklist, with a photo report.
Which pallets are available?
Euro, US and Australian wooden pallets heat-treated to ISPM 15, as well as plastic export pallets, built to your height and weight specifications.
Can you receive and unload full containers?
Yes. We receive and unload 20′, 40′ and 40′ HC containers and can store or redistribute the goods.
Shipping and customs
Which transport modes are available?
To Europe and Russia: sea, rail, air and road. To the USA, Canada, Australia and the Middle East: sea and air.
